* Delivering Hope *

Hope comes in all sizes, intentions, actions, and forms. A loving mother delivers hope to her child each day through nurturing and care. A reliable and engaged father delivers hope to his child by making them feel protective and safe. An educator delivers hope to their students by teaching and preparing them for today's world. A place of worship brings hope to a community by delivering increase faith and spiritual guidance. A community organization and its leaders bring hope to their community by delivering resources, food, health services, safety, and support to improve families, their well-being, and the overall community. A caring young person or adult delivers hope by taking food and love to the elderly or volunteering for a particular cause in their community. Businesses deliver hope to thousands of homes each day through employment and the goods and services they provide. Entertainers, actors, comics, and athletes deliver hope through talent, inspiration, and the creation of special moments. Truck drivers and trains across the country deliver hope to millions of Americans with every delivery they make.

By now, you get the point. Yes, hope comes in all sizes, intentions, actions, and forms! Hope permeates, grows, and soars when it is productive and not destructive.

I first encountered and learned the acrostic for H.O.P.E. in elementary school as to mean Help One Person Every Day.

What have you been doing within the past month, three months, six months, year, or decade to deliver hope to another person, family, or community?

If you currently are an Ambassador of Hope in your community, home, family, and the world in some capacity ― Thank You! If you've been lagging for whatever reason, make today the day that you commit to consistently increase your output of delivering hope. Work hard to keep it in the front of your mind to activate H.O.P.E., this will inspire and empower you to Help One Person Every Day. When you decide to join the ranks of the everyday Ambassadors of Hope, watch how your life grows through new promise and vibrant living. With every action you take and good intention you deliver, you permeate and increase hope in others through love and the resilient will to make a difference.

While the coronavirus continues to impact all facets of our everyday lives, one thing has not changed: there is always a person, family, and community counting on us. For those of us who are Ambassadors of Hope ― we will keep Delivering HOPE to and for them against all odds.
