Ty Howard

"When guilt rears its ugly head confront it,
discuss it and let it go.
The past is over.
It is time to ask what can we do right,
not what did we do wrong.
Forgive yourself and move on.
Have the courage to reach out for help."
~ Bernie S. Siegel, MD
Stop beating yourself up, you're delaying and killing your aspirations, goals and dreams.
There are many people today who go through life telling themselves, "I'm a nothing." "I'm content." "I'm broken." "I'm not worthy." "If you really knew me, you wouldn't like me." "My life feels like one accident after another." "Nothing positive or lucky ever comes my way." "What I am in life right now is all I'll ever be."
These people only use on average 10% of their lives during their time here on Earth. That simply means, they quit on life and blame themselves for their shortcomings. Somewhere in life they got hung up on some negativity, put themselves in park, and never attempted to start and move forward again.
What are you hung up on? A few bad choices, mistakes, bad relationships, bad experiences or not being satisfied with the design or life challenges God gave you?
Accept your mistakes, issues, limitations and physical attributes as a part of life. A part of who you are. Stop allowing stress and past experiences to kill your opportunities for joy and peace of mind.
You are somebody! There is more that you can do! You do have a purpose for being here on Earth! Get up! And stop beating yourself up!
There are possibilities and opportunities out there for you in your life, right now. For you to see and embrace any opportunities that come your way, you must first accept and learn from your mistakes, limitations, challenges and experiences. You must move yourself from being an "excuse" to being an "example."
It was Helen Keller who said, "The most pathetic person in the world is someone who has sight, but has no vision."
What would it take to get you to take higher level of ACTION in your life? What would it take for you to take CONTROL of your life? What would it take for you to create an ongoing updated vision of your future?
The winners in life create a length of time for how long they are going to stay down.
How long? Not long!
Establish your own length of "Down Time System."
When you put in place your own "Down Time System," you will find that no matter how hard a blow you receive in life, you won't be down long. No matter how often Murphy's Law tries your chin. Your knees may buckle, and sometimes you may go down. But you won't be down for long.
How long? Not long!
That's when you have true control of your life.
Bernie S. Siegel encourages people by saying, "Go from, why me?, to, try me!"
Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, learn from your challenge, forgive yourself... then press on toward a more resilient step of action.
There are treasures for you in this world that only you can discover. Only you! And you're worth it? Aren't you?
Don't sit there beating yourself up! Go after what is rightfully yours.
You do deserve BETTER! You can do BETTER! And you will do BETTER!
When you stop beating yourself up.
Stop Beating Yourself Up! Shake it off, and move on!
